Breaking News:Sambo Dasuki Listed PDP Chieftains & Ex Governors In $2Billion Arms Deal



Former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki made some shocking revelation on the $2billion arms deal.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) along side with a committee set up by the Federal Government are currently probing the movement of huge sums of money meant for the procurement of arms during the administration of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
A forensic report shows that about $2billion might have been disbursed for some reasons best known to the sharers. The former National Security Adviser had since been arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) and was later handed over to the Economic and Financial crimes Commissions (EFCC) for further scrutiny.

Breaking News: Oscar Pistorius Convicted Of Murder Of Girlfriend Reeves Steenkamp



Finally Oscar Pistorius has been convicted by a South African Court over the murder of his model girlfriend Reeves Steenkamp on 14 February (Valentine’s Day) 2013.
The double amputee athlete was given a five year jail term after he was found guilty of culpable homicide last year. Although, prosecuting counsel appealed against the judgment, arguing that he should have rather been founded guilty on the grounds of murder.

Dead Bodies Of ISIS Militants Plus Unexploded Suicide Vest On The Ground of Syrian Frontline


The pictures displays the bodies of ISIS militant, killed during an assault in Kurdish station with an un-exploded suicide vest captured on the ground of the Syrian front-line.
According to ITV news, 2 Tornado Jets were deployed from Cyprus to bomb the ISIS camp in Syria, few minutes after MPs voted 397 to 223 in favour of the military action with a majority of 174 votes.
Meanwhile, reports according to the Ministry of Defence shows that British fighters Jet had since returned from their first airstrikes against ISIS militants in Syria.

President Buhari Called On Developed Countries To Make Strong Financial Committment Towards Lake Chad Basin

President Muhammadu Buhari has asked developed countries to make strong financial commitment to the $14B urgently needed to revive the Lake Chad and its host communities depending on the body of water from extinction.
In a statement made by the Special Adviser to the President on media and publicity Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari made the call while addressing a high level meeting in Paris on climate change challenges and solutions in Africa.
He also said no fewer than 5Million people living in the Lake Chad basin countries have been displaced by the state of the lake due to climate change.


Vice President Yemi Osibanjo Calls For Effective Monitoring & Evaluation Mechanism



Vice President Yemi Osibanjo has called for an effective Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanism for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to enable them access funds to address the existing gaps in the growth of the Nigerian economy.
He said this during the 2015 National Medium Enterprises Summit (NMES) in Abuja. Professor Yemi Osibanjo stated clearly, that there are lots of opportunities for the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in the country. He also said what is holding back this from coming to fulfilled purpose is lack of funds and connections to access these funds.

14,000 Police Personnels Deployed To Bayelsa State Ahead Of December 5 Governorship Election



The Nigerian Police force said it has deployed 14,000 police personnel to Bayelsa State ahead of the December 5th, 2015 Governorship Election in the state. The inspector general of Police (IGP) Solomon Arase stated this while briefing officers and men of the state police command in Yenagoa.
According to him, the police had provided adequate security before and during the Governorship poll in Bayelsa State. The Police IGP Solomon Arase also reiterates that 14,000 police personnel have since been deployed to all the 8 LGA’s of the state to control security space and also in the area of surveillance.
