Freddy
Ndigbara who is the aide of Governor Rotimi Amaechi was kidnapped on Sunday by
unknown gunmen. This incident took place at the rally ground organized by the
All Progressive Congress in Kanni community in Khana local Government area of
Rivers State.

governor’s aide was approached by these gunmen and was forced into a stationery
car just by the area where the rally was held.
Speaking on the recent incident:
The
former Chief Press Secretary to the governor of Rivers State, Mr. Blessing
Wikina, said a group of gunmen suspected to be thugs working for the Peoples
Democratic Party, invaded the rally and took Freddy Ndigbara away.
He
also described the governor’s aide as a gentleman and an easy going journalist.
Blessing Wikina condemned his abduction and called on the abductors to release
him unconditionally.
