Lagos State University Refund Fees To Students

The Government of Lagos State refunded the sum of N209M to students of Lagos State University. This was done following the recent reversal of fees by the State University. 

12 students from the Lagos State University were presented with cheques worth  N150, 000 to N200, 000. The remaining money will be paid to the various accounts provided by the remaining students.

The event took place at a ceremony held at the Main auditorium in Ojo campus on the 26th of February 2015, the event witnessed in attendance the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Fatai Olukoga who represented the Governor of Lagos State.

According to him, this is the first phase in the refund exercise to students of Lagos State University.

However, the second phase of refund exercise which is about N89 million will commence soon.
