In Rivers state one would have believed that election process would be peaceful. But reports reaching us show the  gruesome photos of dead men and a press statement from the APC in Rivers state. Obviously, election in some areas of the state was very violent.

Today’s presidential and National Assembly elections have turned out to be a nightmare for the APC in Rivers State, with the members being killed, some attacked and disenfranchised in various parts of the State.

Taraba State-Underage Child Getting Accreditation

Wonders will never end in this country. Take a look at this picture and tell me exactly what you think is happening? Am a bonafide citizen of this country Nigeria. As far as the law of this nation is concern there is no provision of the law that says underage children are eligible to vote. The law allows those that are of age i.e. 18 and above to vote.

This child above doesn’t look 18 t****h, or is it just his looks or what? Could it be that the INEC officials are test running the equipment? I honestly do not think am exaggerating.

Voters Accreditation-INEC Extends Till Sunday

Independent National Electoral Commission has been observing  field reports on the accreditation process since the commencement of the electoral process this morning. Although  the process is going smoothly in some areas, while other polling areas have encountered some challenges especially with the card readers. The commission share this information via her twitter handle @INECAlert few moments ago.

INEC - March 28 Election Results Will Be Announced 48Hrs After Voting

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s Chairman (INEC), Prof. Attahiri Jega today March 27, 2015, during a press briefing with the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig Gen. Johnson Olawunmi said the electoral body has put everything to ensure that the electoral process is a hitch free exercise.

INEC also said:

''It will announce the results of the Presidential election within 48 hours after voting. Everyone is advised to tune to their radios and TV for the announcement''.
