Just after the National
Chairman of PDP Adamu Mu’azu tendered his resignation from office, the Chairman
Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party Chief Tony Anenih has also stepped
down from office effective this Wednesday.
According to the
Chairman Board of Trustees, in a statement signed by himself and addressed to
the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, he
cited his conversation with the president to that effect and proposes to
handover to the president in a ceremony that would take place on the 22nd of
May, 2015
Chief Tony Anenih also said,
in a view of the party’s current state of affairs his decision will enable the
president to assume the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic
Party.
