Federal Government Orders NBC To Shut Down Biafra Radio

It was reported that the Federal Government had given a directive to the NBC (National Broadcasting Corporation) to shut down Biafra Radio station. Most people tend to say that this is just a mere speculation as the station is currently running even after the directive to shut down the radio station and this kept my mind wondering the possibility of this happening. Meanwhile, local tabloid, media etc have it as their headlines. What really baffles me the most is how lots of Nigerian glued to their radio and some to the station using their mobile phone devices?

Well, http://fresheste.blogspot.com took to the street to ask question on whether people still hook up to the station perceived to have been shut down by the NBC as directed by the Federal Government, and they had this to say:

Anonymous: No one can close Biafra radio station, let alone breaking the fireworks. The software was created by Biafra radio station itself and it will be difficult for anyone to penetrate.

Anonymous: I am not perturbed about Biafra station, whatever happens to the station is none of my business. Someone from nowhere just came to spoil the heart of Nigerians and people are busy accepting it.

Jerry: Whether they like let them shut down the station here in Nigeria, it will still not stop us from receiving signals.
