TAN Rally In Lagos Crippled Commercial Activities


The Peoples Democratic Party Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) held a rally yesterday the 24th of March 2015 for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. The rally crippled commercial activities in major markets across the city of Lagos. 
The event took place at the National Stadium and brought people from all walks of life including representatives of various supporters, professional groups, traders and artisans.
Speaking at the forum yesterday was the  National Vice Chairman of TAN, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah who said  the gathering was convened to tell Nigerians that there is no vacancy  in Aso Rock till 2019.He also buttress that his group would not spare anything to ‘‘liberate the people of Lagos State’’.
Meanwhile, the People Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos state, Mr. Jimi Agbaje promised to run a fair and open administration, adding that everybody irrespective of religion and tribe would have a say in his government. The governorship aspirant further urged Lagosians never to cast their votes for the APC, adding that PDP is the only party that is interested in the welfare of Nigerians.
General Coordinator of the group Chief Somtochukwu Anaeli gave a remark during the rally; he said TAN has provided direction for Nigerians at a very critical time. He also said the turnout shows a clear indication that the state is in support of President Jonathan’s re-election bid.
The President of Igbo Youths in Lagos State, Comrade Emeka Agbo commended Ubah for mobilizing the Igbo's for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and that all Igbo’s are solidly behind the PDP’s aspiration of winning the governorship polls in the state.
Moreso, the leader of Anambra Community in Lagos Mr. Ben Chukwukelu, said that all the 177 community associations in the state are in full support of the President’s re-election bid.


Finally, the mammon crowd later moved out of the National Stadium on a street to street sensitization march along the busy Ikorodu road and some major streets in the neighborhood in the city of Lagos.
