Emmanuel Uduaghan Wins 2014 Silverbird Man Of The Year Award

2014 Silverbird Man of the year award took place yesterday the 3rd of May, 2015 at the Lagos Eko hotels. Indeed it was an evening that saw beautiful faces from the entertainment industry and political world. The event which kicked off at about 06:45pm was anchored (MC) by our own very Sonny Irabo; chairman of the occasion was former Minister of Petroleum Odein Ajumogobia who most believed is an orator, see his speech below.

Chairman’s speech:

It is a great honour and privilege to introduce at this juncture the Silverbird Man of the Year Award. This is the 2014 edition of the Silverbird Man of the Year in 2014. This award has clearly earned its reputation and establish itself as one of the most prestigious and distinctive awards of our time, such distinction have earned it first from the stature of the organization, the credibility of the organization, the consistency of the organization, the Silverbird Man of the year. Its former chairman who is now a senator elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Ben Bruce.

The chairman while delivering his short speech gave a brief statement of how he became a member of the silverbird group. Although the awards were divided into various categories as follows:

• Special Awards
• Lifetime Awards
• Posthumous Awards
• Care Givers Award

Indeed it was an evening of fun catching for those who grace the occasion in a grand style, the honorees and winners. Meanwhile, the chairman gave detailed highlight of the award presentation for the evening before taking a bow.

Delta State Governor Emmanuel E. Uduaghan emerged winner for the 2014 Silverbird Man of the Year Award. The Award was presented to the Governor by the Governor of Ekiti State Ayodele Fayose. Thus, Governor Uduaghan heartily thanked the management of Silverbird Group for the honour.
