During the recent fight that broke out at
the APC governorship rally in Okrika,where the wife of the President of the federal Republic of Nigeria hails from in Rivers state on February 17th
2015, a Senior correspondent with channels Television Charles Eruka was stabbed
on the neck by some hoodlums at the APC rally ground in Okirika secondary school.
Charles Eruka while narrating is ordeal in an interview with Channels TV; said the hoodlums stabbed him while struggling to keep his phone which they wanted to snatch away from him.

He Stated:
"Some of the attackers who have
been looting the properties of people who had provided the public address
system at the venue now surrounded me and tried to take my phone away from me
on the suspicion that I was actually calling reinforcement to come pick them
up. So in the vein, I got stabbed on the neck" he said.
Nigeria should learn from the advanced democracies of this world. Democracy is a game of numbers and people should not see it as a do or die affair...enough is enough!
