Security Experts Advise Presidency On Hire And Firing of Serving IGP

Few days after the confirmation of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Solomon Arase as the substantive Inspector General Of Police, Security experts have advise the presidency to be cautious in the exercise of his power to hire and fire a serving Inspector General of Police (IGP).

Meanwhile, an Abuja based security expert who is also a retired Inspector of Police said the situation if not properly checked can weaken the power and undermine the integrity of the police management team.
