Boko Haram Insurgents Attacked Borno Killed Over 24 Person, Dozens Injured

Boko Haram insurgents attacked a village in Borno, leaving over 24 persons dead while dozens were injured. Security sources revealed that  the terrorists stormed Kwajafa, the home-town of former chairman of NDLEA Mr Fulani Kwajafa, on Sunday.
Boko Haram insurgents who drove to the town in Golf cars in the evening, gathered residents together, claiming they came to preach.
 ''They, however, opened fire on the people as soon as they gathered in an open place''.
Meanwhile source from the area told newsmen that. Some of the residents, who were in a mosque, were also set ablaze. While other source claimed that many residents who could not escape when the insurgents fired into the gathering were affected leaving over  24 persons dead in the attack.
Jubrin Usman, a Maiduguri resident, who hails from the area where the insurgents launched the attacked said:
''The casualty would have been less had many people not returned in recent times''.
