Nigerian Military Rescued 293 Females In Sambisa Forest


293 females yesterday were rescued by the military from four different camp of the Boko Haram insurgents in Sambisa forest. Reports shows that the 293 females rescued were 200 girls and 93 women, this has generated concerns by Foreign/Nigerians from all parts of the world more especially since the reportedly abduction of the chibok girls.
Reports according to military spokesperson Col. Sani Usman, reveals that the rescued females will be taken for proper check, to ascertain their state.

Quoted:

We will take them to Abuja or Maiduguri for further investigation to determine whether chibok girls were among the rescued females, as well as where they come from.
Sani Usman while speaking to news men said: many of the rescued females were traumatized such that they need to be kept in the right state of mind to be able to extract useful information from them. Meanwhile, the military is deploying medical and intelligence personnel’s to scrutinize the victims.

    Why did the military not carry out this rescue operation earlier,anyway better late than never.
