Rivers State Civil
Service Commission chairman, Sr. Martyns Yellowe told news men that, the

every employment is guided by the commission’s rules and regulations.
According to him:
Before any employment
process is carried out there has to be an approval by the state Governor after
which Vacancies would be made public. He also said that, though there are
vacancies in the ministries, department and agencies, recruitment exercise
cannot be carried out until there is an approval from the state Governor. He
add that the last employment exercise in the state was carried out in August,
2013 and since then there has not been any other employment done by the
commission.
However, he advice the general
public to disregard false information; that the commission is embarking on
secret recruitment exercises. He also added that it is only a cheap blackmail
aimed at tarnishing the image of the state government and the commission.
