False Assets Declaration: Saraki's Lawyer Withdraws From Proceedings

Lawyers, who represented the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki in his trial over his false asset declaration in Abuja, yesterday staged a work out of the code of conduct tribunal.
This followed the refusal of the chairman of the tribunal Umar Danladi to suspend proceedings of the case pending the determination of Dr. Bukola Saraki’s appeal at the Supreme Court on tribunal jurisdiction to trying him.

The senate president Dr. Bukola Saraki is currently standing trial on a 13 count suit bordering on his alleged improper assets declaration.
The Lawyers Mahmud Magaji (SAN), Saka Isau (SAN) and Ahmed Raji (SAN) described the code of conduct tribunal ruling on their request as judicial rascality.
Meanwhile, the code of conduct tribunal has given the senate president Dr. Bukola Saraki one week to get another Lawyer to represent him in the matter before adjourning till November 19th for trial.
