Rivers State Government Charged Agencies To Adopt Standard In Disposing Toxic Substances



The Rivers State Government has charged agencies and other organizations operating in the state to adopt a standard procedure in disposing of toxic substances and contaminated products.
The statement was made by the state Deputy Governor Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo during a visit by the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association led by its national president Dr. Edgar Amos in Government House Port Harcourt.
The State Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo condemn the way and manner an agency of government would go about dumping poultry produce which is unhealthy for human consumption in an unethical manner for the populace to gather and consume.
