Former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki made some
shocking revelation on the $2billion arms deal.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) along
side with a committee set up by the Federal Government are currently probing
the movement of huge sums of money meant for the procurement of arms during the administration of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
A forensic report shows that about $2billion might have been
disbursed for some reasons best known to the sharers. The former National
Security Adviser had since been arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS)
and was later handed over to the Economic and Financial crimes Commissions (EFCC)
for further scrutiny.
The former National Security Adviser was actually obliged by
the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission a copy of the statement from the
Director of finance in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) Salisu
Shaibu with some indicting statements.
After going through the copy of statement, Sambo Dasuki decided
to own up by giving a list of the PDP chieftains involved in the sharing of the
money meant for the procurement of arms.
Culled from The Nation.
